2025 Conference Research Poster Session

Call for Proposals: Music Education Related Research Posters:
​
The North Dakota Music Educators Association (NDMEA) invites researchers and educators (including graduate and undergraduate students) to submit proposals for the Music Education Research Poster Session during the 2025 NDMEA Conference held March 23-25 at the Bismarck Event Center.
​
We welcome submissions of unpublished research, reviews of literature, action research, and research in progress (including Doctoral Dissertations and Masters Theses in progress). All research must be related to music teaching and learning. Submissions accepted for publication may be considered for this poster session if that research has not yet been published. The proposal must include a statement specifying any prior presentation of the research.

Submission Deadline: February 15, 2025 – 11:59 p.m. (central standard time)

Submissions must include:

An abstract of no more than 750 words including the title, research purpose, method (including research questions), findings, and implications/importance/relevance for the field of music education. Again, in-progress research and literature reviews will be considered for presentation.

If the proposal is accepted, all presenters must register for the NDMEA Conference as either an NAfME Member or pay the Non-Member Registration Price. Conference registration (including prices) will be found on the NDMEA website.

All poster presentations will need to be free standing (there will not be possibility of hanging posters from conference walls/fixtures).
